The difference between the French and American workwear is the fabric, where the Americans used denim, the French used moleskin and cavalry twill cottons. A while ago we stumbled upon this beautiful French worker jacket which has been patched, stained, faded, repaired, reconstructed for ages. Partly made out of moleskin cotton and cavalry twill, this jacket is a piece of art. It has got multiple hand repairs, loads of patches and the natural wear and sun fading is insane. All the buttons are different and the jacket is still very wearable. We hate to see this piece of art go, it belongs in a museum!
