€289.00When we found this dead stock roll of 1960’s original Swiss army sturdy waxed linnen cotton fabric we couldn’t wait to work with it. This fabric is one of the nicest we have seen. It is so densely woven that it is completely water repellent. Since we have a complete roll we were able to make more than one bag. We currently stock two of these.

€399.00We made a limited serie of 5 bags made out of a 1920’s Japanese indigo boro kimono. Literally translated as rags or scraps of cloth, the Japanese term boro is also used to describe clothes and household items which have been patched-up and repaired many times. Once clothing was made, it would be maintained throughout the owner’s lifetime, or perhaps even longer. We carefully reworked this beautiful fabrics into a roll top back that can be rolled-up to different heights. It is still closable by the in height adjustable belt.
Please beware, raw indigo fabric is easy to bleed onto lighter materials!!
