When we found this dead stock roll of 1960’s original Swiss army sturdy waxed linnen cotton fabric we couldn’t wait to work with it. This fabric is one of the nicest we have seen. It is so densely woven that it is completely water repellent. Since we have a complete roll we were able to make more than one bag. We currently stock two of these.
All Atelier de l’Armée bags are individually numbered and constructed from carefully selected materials. The distinct look of our materials can only be achieved by years of usage, therefore our bags may have stains, small repairs, erros, stamps or other natural wear. This is all part of our philosophy, it is what makes them special. Our bags are made by hand with great care for detail in our small workshop in Amsterdam.
